Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest II will invest in 10 to 13 small and medium-sized enterprises in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. A unique aspect of the fund is that the companies it invests in are evaluated based on their ability to create employment opportunities for individuals who have previously been on the margins of the labour market, without compromising profitability or quality.

By providing capital, expertise, and networks, the fund strengthens companies’ capacity to create jobs for people who would otherwise remain outside the workforce.

Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest II is backed by a broad range of leading investors and institutions, including the European Investment Fund (EIF), Norlys, Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO, formerly Vækstfonden), Tryghedsgruppen, Chr Augustinus Fabriker, Nordea Fonden, Novo Nordisk Fonden, as well as several Danish savings banks and foundations.

Documented Social Impact

The fund places significant emphasis on measuring and documenting the social impact generated by its investments. A substantial portion of the workforce within the portfolio companies will consist of employees from marginalized groups, and these outcomes are systematically monitored and reported.
