Processing of personal information and use of cookies

Ferd AS is the data controller for your personal data. You can contact us using post@ferd.no.

When you sign up to receive information materials from us, we process your name and email. If you sign up to receive information materials in paper format, we process your street address as well. The legal basis for this is that it is necessary in order for us to fulfil the agreement to send you information materials. Your personal data is stored until you tell us you no longer wish to receive the materials, and you can cancel your subscription whenever you choose.

When you provide us with your contact information via our website so that we can contact you, we have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data in order to contact you. Your personal data is stored in accordance with the applicable legislation and regulations.

Your personal data will not be used for marketing purposes and will neither be sold nor disclosed to third parties. We use data processors in order to help us inter alia to send out materials and to operate our website and IT equipment. The data processors we use are subject to our right of instruction, and we always ensure that statutory safeguards and data processing agreements are in place.

You have a right to access your personal data, to correct it, to restrict its processing, to receive your data in portable format, to protest about its processing, and to have it deleted. You also have the right to complain about the processing of your data to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, but we hope you will contact us first so we can see if there is anything we can do better.

As regards general use of our website, we collect personal data about you on the basis of your consent to our use of cookies as set out below. The following applies to our website:

  • When you visit our website, only your computer’s domain name (IP address) will be registered, not your email address
